The Skinny: The Responsys email and campaign tool is a top ranked medium to large business platform. It allows for the integration of marketing lists for email, sms and social media into a single tool with advanced automation capabilities.
The Good: The Responsys program builder is second to none. It’s ability to create dynamic if/then splits allows you to create and connect a complex network of automatic, personalized marketing communications. Additionally, the Responsys user interface will feel very comfortable to both email creators and data-heads – including an integrated SQL query page.
The Bad: Responsys is a marketing communication tool, and proud of it. If you’re looking for something to manage and centralize profiles or act as a CRM-lite, you’re better off going with Adobe Campaign (Neolane) or Bronto Mail.
